GTE was engaged by a client to optimise the interlocking of water usage during active fire alarms. The project spanned across 68 PLCs which incorporated both GE and Allen Bradley PLCs. The addition of the new logic required downloads to be performed to each PLC taking them offline for a short period of time. Despite the complex interconnections of the some of the PLCs on site, GTE was able to coordinate with the client to ensure there was no loss in production during these downloads.
